Spring Break...

{PC} I wish it wasn't Spring Break. I just want to go to school.

This is a child who gets mad when we even check her out early.

Hope this stays with her and she LOVES school forever.

Easter...

While discussing the scripture we had read (Mosiah 3:5-11), we talked about Jesus and his birth as well as his death. So we came to Easter...

{Me} Why do we celebrate Easter?

{PA} Isn't that when the bunny brought Jesus in a pouch?

Ummmm...

{PA} Oh, a kangaroo?

Apparently we have A LOT more teaching to do!

She Got Moves...

As we were watching Ellen dance it up on her show today, Haidyn comes running in (just anytime there is music, even if it is a quick commercial).

{PH} Wow, she's got the moves like Jagger. The moo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oves, like Jagger.

Later on the show, she couldn't contain her excitement when these little ladies met Maroon 5 at the Grammy's and actually sang, Moves Like Jagger.

Haidyn recently upgraded to a toddler bed.

My girls enjoy sleeping on make-shift beds on the floor.

{Me} What are you talking about? I didn't let you sleep on the floor.

{PH} Yes you did. Thanks for letting me sleep on the floor.

{Me} You were asleep IN your bed when I went to sleep. You must have fallen out of your bed!

Phone Book...

Annistyn came home the other day with homework requiring her to feel the weight of the phone book against other items in our home.

{PC} What is a phone book anyway?

I mean, seriously, who even uses a phone book anymore?

We had to borrow the neighbors.

He may not have been "in her class" but she sure knows who he is.
